CARBONECO is a Spanish company which specialises in recovering, recycling and marketing highly purified and food quality CO2.

CARBONECO owns CO2 production plants in El Grado (Huesca), Les (Val d'Aran), Granadilla de Abona (Canary Islands) and Aliaga (Teruel), which afford them a production capacity of roughly 100,000 tonnes per year.

CARBONECO is the sector’s only European company with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Standard accreditation. What’s more, it also holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environmental quality certification.

CARBONECO produces liquid CO2 with a purity level above 99.9% and complies with the current legislation on beverage-grade carbon dioxide stipulated by ISBT (International Society of Beverage Technologists), EIGA (European Industrial Gases Association), JEFCA (Food Additive Specifications) and ANEABE (Liquid Carbon Dioxide Specifications).
